Delete a Budget Squad account

Before deleting

Export any records you need and cancel Premium in Google Play or the App Store. Deleting your Budget Squad account does not cancel a store subscription.

Delete from the app

Open Settings, find Account, choose Delete account, enter your current password, type DELETE, and confirm.

What is removed

Your sign-in, profile, memberships, push tokens, personal report jobs, and uploaded receipt files are permanently removed. A hosted group with other members transfers to an existing member; a group with no other members is permanently deleted.

What may remain

Expenses and contributions already shared with a group remain as Former member so the group ledger and balances do not change unexpectedly. Archived groups otherwise follow the published retention policy.
